The ball screw nut mainly contains the following key components and structures:

1. Raceway: spiral-shaped, used to accommodate and guide the rolling of balls.

2. Balls: They are the key components for transmission. They are numerous and roll in the raceway.

3. Redirector (or similar structure): used to change the movement direction of the ball so that the ball can roll in cycles.

4. Seals: Prevent dust, impurities, etc. from entering the inside of the nut, ensuring the smooth operation of the balls and the service life of the screw nut.

In the ball screw nut, the main operations of the balls are as follows:

When the screw rotates, the nut moves along the screw axis. There is a spiral raceway in the nut, and the balls roll in the raceway.

There are usually returners or similar structures at both ends of the raceway of the nut so that the balls can continuously circulate in the raceway. When the ball rolls from the top of the screw thread to the bottom of the thread, it changes direction through the reverser and enters the next cycle, thereby converting the rotational motion of the screw into linear motion of the nut, and because the rolling friction of the ball is relatively small Small, capable of achieving efficient and precise transmission.

Specifically, the ball is pushed by the screw thread and guided by the raceway in the raceway. It continuously rolls forward, changes direction, and rolls forward again, completing the operation in the ball screw nut over and over again.
